I am going to use this blog to tell you about my Learning Journey. I’ll add all my achievements from inside and outside school. I’ll also add some news about what’s happening in my life. Click on the ‘Categories’ section in my sidebar to find out more.
So far in our book, Anneli the Art-Hater, Anneli has to find some way to raise money for a new art room even though she absolutely dreads art. The options are: bake cakes to sell, sweep up dead leaves or find an attic full of precious things but unfortunately Anneli can’t do any of them, at least that’s what she thinks. When she goes to her neighbours house to see Josh and Jodie they find out that they have an attic. They go upstairs to where Josh says the attic is. Under the bed in Jodie’s room there was a small door no bigger than 2 ft. Anneli opened the door. Behind it there was a big water tank, it was quite dark so it was hard to see but it wasn’t slimy and disgusting like she thought it would be. She decided to go downstairs encase Jodie came in looking for a clean blouse or something. She goes back to her house and waits till Jodie is away at her meeting. Then, she went back to the little door but this time with a torch. She was quite disappointed to see that there was nothing much there but when she leans on another door that was in the attic it was a totally different story. Chapter 3 ends when Anneli sees that she is in another room and there is a hideous face leaning over her!
I am now in Primary 6. My teacher is Mrs.S, she is very nice and kind. Today we were doing Reading in the morning. After reading we did our homework share, and now I am in ICT writing this post. There is a new helper in our class called Mr.S, he in kind and helpul. At the weekend I went ice-skating like I do every Saturday. I am practicing for a competition. I will write more soon! Bye x
Today I went to see a Firework Display. Some of the fireworks were really nice. I especially liked the ones that went up and shimmered down like stardust. It was FREEZING though. My feet were numb! I thought it was a really nice display. Before the fireworks came on there was a boy band playing. They were very young and pretty good 😀
Hi world, sorry I haven’t been on my blog for a while. I’ve been quite busy lately and this is kind of like my only spare minute. We are just about to drop my sister off at her horse. My sister moved yards about 2 months ago because we didn’t really feel comfortable there. Now we are at a new yard. It is quite a drive to get to her new stable but we are willing to drive her there because we know the circumstances. Anyway, I have started Cheerleeding about 1 month ago. I am the one that gets lifted into the air, it is a mixture of scary and fun. The girls there are lovely and so is our teacher. I also was on holiday about 3 weeks ago. I went to Turkey, I would definetly reccomend the Doganay Beach Club hotel. It is 5 star and it has 3 swimming pools. Indoor, Outdoor (quiet), Outdoor (Slides, Fun and Games). I really want to go back. The thing I liked best was the Animation Team (representitives). They were really funny and helpful. It was probably my favourite holiday EVER!!! I have to go now but I will be putting up more posts quite regularly so look out for more posts. Bye x
On Monday the 19th of August it was my 10th birthday. I got a game called the 5 Second Rule, it is when you have to answer the question on the card in 5 seconds. e.g. Name 3 ways to become a millionare. I also got Aqua Beads, they are simalar to Hama Beads. It is when you make things out af little balls. I’ve made a flower and a ladybird. I also got lots of clothes from my friends and family and lots more things. At 6:00 my party started. Ellie R, Faiza J, Miriam C, Chloe C and Aimee W came. We played games and stuff until it was time to go. I liked my party and all of my presents.
Last week me, my sister and my dad went camping at Strathyre. I took about 40 minutes in the car. When we got there we started putting up the tent. It was quite easy putting the metal things through the holes but then it started getting harder so I went down to the pond while my dad put up the rest of the tent. We bought fishing nets at Callander so I took mine down to the pond with me. I just went down for a look because the pond was FREEZING! I went back to the tent and it was nearly ready. About half an hour later it was ready. At night we went to an Inn. I had chips and so did my sister, we both had cola and my dad had beer. We got back to the camping site at about 11:00 so we watched a movie. The next day I went down to the toilet block and had a shower then we went down to the pond for about 1 and a half hours. We caught about 15 fish, then we set them free. We sunbaved for a little while and then we went back to the Inn. We had the same thing we had the 1st day. We went back to the tent and watched a different movie. The next day we had another shower but when we got back to the tent we started packing the stuff for going back home. We went back down to the pond and we caught about 18 fish but I set they ones free quite quickly because there was too many in the bowl. After that we all went to the little shop at the top of the camp site. We got Ice Lollies and then we went back to the tent. I went round to my friend that I met there’s tent and we played tennis for a little bit but the ball wasn’t very bouncy so we just stopped. We played races and things there. It was about 10:30 before I went into the tent and watched another movie (we brought quite a lot of movies). In the morning we went for a shower and then we just got in the car and drove home. We had a great time at the camping!!! 😀
Today I met my uncle Barrie for the first time. He came over to my house and he played the guitar and talked to us for a little bit. My dad hadn’t seen him in about 10 years. When he first came into my house he played the guitar because he is really really really good at playing the guitar, he can play lots of songs. He and my dad were very good at playing it. He is a tattoo artist and he was voted one of the best tattooist in Scotland at writting stuff. He has 15 tattoos and 15 piercings. He did some of his tattoos by himself, one of them is on his belly. It is writing and he did it upside down (that must have been very hard). He said it took him about 4 hours to do. It is really cool. He lives in England because his job is there. His job finishes in October so he is going to come and live here in Scotland then. Hopefully we will get to see him more then!!!
It was my little cousin Michael’s birthday last Friday. My family went round to is house for his party. We got him 2 DVD’s called Rio and The Chipmunks. We also got him a big tennis set. He really liked the gifts. His mum and dad got him this thing called a Flicker. It is like a scooter and he plays on it all the time. Michael is now 7 and he is going into Primary 3!!!
Today I went to Hairpsray the show at Larbert High School. It was from 6:30 till 9:00. It was really good. I went with Faiza, my mum and Faiza’s mum. They did a lot of songs and dances. It was meant to be in the 1960’s. The girls wore dresses and the boys wore shirts and ties.
My pet Honey won the Pet of the Week. It said she likes playing with her toys and getting lots of attention. It also said she dislikes being on a leash and her favourite food is chicken.
